In this 6 days Botswana Camping adventure, one will be taken to around the Botswana exploring the vibrant landscape and national parks that are well preserved and a place of an excellent wild games covering most of the African big five.
DAYS 1 – 2 : MAUN
Set on the banks of the beautiful Thamalakane River in northern Botswana, Maun is the third largest town in this spectacularly scenic southern African country. Maun is the starting point for most expeditions into the Okavango Delta and as a result, has developed into a bustling metropolis that is considered Botswana’s tourism capital. Area attractions include a renowned riverboat that offers cruises up and down the Thamalakane River; the forest groves of the Maun Game Reserve; and Moremi Game Reserve, home to hippos, lions and rhinos. Maun also serves as the jumping off point for many safaris and air charters as well as offers 4×4 rentals. Don’t miss the Nhabe Museum exhibiting the local history, art and culture of the Ngamiland region.



DAY 3 : NATA
Leaving Kasane early, we set off for Nata where we will overnight. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon guided excursion to the Makgadikgadi Pans and Nata Sanctuary an optional activity, where a host of water birds including pelicans and flamingo in their thousands breed here every year.



DAY 4 : KASANE
In the morning after breakfast, we will drive the short distance to the Botswana border and cross into Botswana, where we will check in at camp along the banks of the Chobe River. This afternoon you will be exploring the Chobe National Park. We begin our exploration with an optional game drive in 4×4 vehicles and the afternoon ends with a leisurely boat cruise which allows us an up close and personal experience with the many elephants that frequent the river in the afternoons and where hippos and crocodiles bask in the sun.



DAY 5 : VICTORIA FALLS (ZIMBABWE)
With the many activities on offer in Victoria Falls today you will start off your day with the adventure that most suits your style. Whether rafting the mighty Zambezi River or enjoying a scenic flight over the falls below, this is your day to enjoy the many attractions on offer in Victoria Falls. For the leisurely traveler, there are craft markets to explore and a delicious high tea offered at the Victoria Falls Hotel.



SEDIA RIVERSIDE HOTEL | MAUN
Sedia Riverside Hotel has been designed to be in harmony with nature. It is a small but unique hotel, featuring twenty four rooms and ten cottages. NATA LODGE | NATA
An oasis set among the Mokolwane palms on the edge of the pans. It is ideally situated close to the entrance to the Nata Sanctuary and is just off the main road, 10 km from Nata village. This is the junction to the Okavango, Chobe and Francistown areas. The Nata River delta feeds the Sua Pan in the Nata sanctuary and forms the breeding ground for a host of water birds including pelicans and flamingo in their thousands, transforming the shore line into a pink haze blending into the western sky. Nata Lodge offers guided tours in open safari vehicles into the sanctuary, not to be missed.



THEBE RIVER CAMP | KASANE
Campsite and Overland Accommodation
Thebe River Safaris camp offers spacious camping areas with shaded cooking/braai areas. Ablutions are shared and we have 2 large communal ablution blocks with showers with loads of piping hot water, basins, mirrors and toilets. Most of our sites have water tap and a power point on campsite.
Made Up Tents (Coming Soon)
A small number of made-up tents erected in the camp with twin beds. All beds in the tents are mosquito netted ensuring a peaceful nights sleep.



VICTORIA FALLS RAINBOW HOTEL | VICTORIA FALLS (ZIMBABWE)
Victoria Falls Rainbow hotel is within walking distance from the Victoria Falls, the town centre, the railway station as well as the commercial district. The Airport is roughly 25km from the hotel. This hotel offer attention to detail, personal service and offers the base from which to pursue adrenaline pumping sporting activities. The lodge is located next to the Zambezi National Park and it’s possible to spot some hippos, crocodiles or game coming in for a drink from the rooms. All rooms have air conditioning, colour television, computer hook up, telephone, ensuite bathrooms, with enclosed balconies. Suites have, in addition, a separate lounge, mini bar and another TV lounge. The hotel has 88 rooms in total. The Hotel houses two dining experiences, The Simujinga restaurant with its enticing African aura and blending in of Western & African cuisine and The Kraal Restaurant (Shop and Dine concept) – providing a more authentic Zimbabwean meal experience. Traditional shows ( traditional Ndebele Dancers and the Makishi from the Matonga tribe) depicting the original diversity of the Zimbabwean and Southern African culture.
